DU SOL UG Admission opens till September 2
University of Delhi, online and offline options are open for students. Admissions to the undergraduate programmes at the School of Learning (SOL), Delhi University, are on till September 2.
SOL gets more students than regular DU colleges and it is only fair that we too get to study under the FYUP system than the old three-year undergraduate system.
Every year, close to 1.5 lakh students take admission in SOL. SOL conducts five undergraduate programmes — BA, B.Com, B.Com (Hons), BA (Hons) political science and BA (Hons) English literature.
Online admissions have made the admission process transparent. We have managed to create a database of students and because we are connected with the CBSE, NIOS, other major state boards, all information is verified through the computer , which doesn't allow ineligible or fraudulent students to take admission.
When students take admission through the online registration process for the first time, they will be allotted an SOL roll number.
They will have to fill in the basic details such as valid email id and mobile number.
The gateway for payments and fee transactions is the State Bank of India (SBI). Students can pay the registration fee through debit or credit cards.
Students can fill in their details in the first go, get themselves registered on the SOL website and get the challan printed from the SOL website. They can take this challan to any of the nearby branch of SBI in any part of India/Delhi and deposit their fee over there. Payment details will be automatically updated at SOL by the soft data sent by SBI by the next working day. Students can take print out of the receipt and exam form and post it to SOL.
